Balloon Vase 03, opal white

The Balloon vase series is named after the process which the glass goes through when being mouthblown. The glass expands the same way a balloon is blown up, which gives the Balloon Vases its sculptural characteristics. The carefully selected colors, all have a natural play with light that creates beautiful reflections wherever the vases are placed in the room. The Balloon Vases all have a characteristic expression that naturally works with bouquets and flowers, but also alone as a sculpture. Because all the vases are mouthblown, each object has its own weight, thickness and color intensity. Louise Roe think that this is the charm of a handmade product.
