Meet the monkey' s new siblings
Originally, Kay Bojesen wanted to create a coat hook for his children, which resulted in him designing the monkey in 1951. Due to the monkey's charisma and charming facial expression, which has turned it into a true design icon, there are now additions to the monkey family. The two new versions are in oak and maple as well as in oak and smoked oak. The choice of woods are inspired by the increased focus on sustainability and this consideration fits perfectly into Kay Bojesen's universe since all his designs are timeless and his wooden figures are aged gracefully.
