This proud and elegant bird is a symbol of Holmegaard, and together with small hearts and a branch of red winter berries, this year’s motif beautifully and decoratively conveys transformation, beauty, and a poetic sense of joy. Ann-Sofi Romme’s small 2025 Christmas star is 8.5 cm high and, as always, made of mouth-blown glass. The colours are kept classic in red and gold with a final metallic finish, while the small red hearts create a cosy atmosphere for the most heartfelt time of the year. The graphic decoration is perfectly in line with both Christmas traditions and contemporary colour trends, complemented by matching red silk ribbons that invite hanging on the tree, in the window, or on evergreen branches around the home alongside the rest of the nostalgic series. With her classic Christmas collection for Holmegaard, Ann-Sofi Romme has created a simple yet original Christmas narrative, which for many evokes the joy of recognition and reflections on the romantic moments of Christmas. Each year, she continues the Christmas fairy tale she began with her Holmegaard bell back in 1993.
